HOW MUCH TOOTHPASTE CAN YOU EAT?

According to Public Health England, daily requirements for Calcium is 700 mg, for Magnesium 270 mg for females and 300 mg for males, Iodine 140 mg for both genders,  Zinc 7 mg for females and 9.5 mg for males Potassium 3500 mg for both genders. What is the recommended daily intake (RDI) for Fluoride? There isn’t such guidelines! Fluoride is not an essential element.  The maximum permitted value of fluoride in drinking water in the UK is 1.5mg/l. The U.S. National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine recommends 0.05 mg F/kg body weight/day to prevent tooth decay. However, toxic dose of fluoride is 5mg/1kg. In a tube of 75g toothpaste containing 1450ppm of fluoride we have 108.75 mg of fluoride. Likewise medicines, toothpastes should be inaccessible for kids, so keep them high up safely locked. Natural occurring fluoride (calcium fluoride weathered from rocks) has a much higher lethal rate than synthetically added fluoride compounds.

In fact, fluoride isn’t even an essential element.

Do we need to take additional amounts of fluoride? We ingest it through food, because fluoride is present in teas, processed food, fish and in trace amounts in eggs and produce. We use it topically in the toothpastes and mouth rinses. We drink it in our water. Fluoride is even present in antidepressants, anaesthetics and steroids. It’s in the Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon) coated pans.

Some sources state that 5mg F/kg of body weight can be toxic to our health, where over 15mgF/kg can be lethal. There was an incident of death by taking 16mgF/kg, but we lack more information of other fatal cases of fluoride overdosing. Anyway, throughout our lifetime we consume quite large amounts of this element. The question is how much of unnecessary fluoride we take in general? If we look after oral hygiene well (without toxic ingredients) and take a healthy diet, the answer is ALL OF IT IS UNNECESSARY.

Traces of fluoride are found in bones composition, but it does not mean that we need to supplement it to maintain a healthy skeleton. Enough calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and K and overall healthy diet and lifestyle should be enough for healthy bones, especially in our region, where the natural fluoride occurs in sufficient amounts.

Calcium helps reduce intestinal absorption of Fluoride and it would be unsafe to ignore this crucial relationship. If by any chance you eat too much toothpaste, Calcium can be an antidote.

Just saying.

There is no such disease that we can suffer from, if we haven’t got enough fluoride in our bodies. We do not need fluoride at all. Our teeth do not get decayed with too less fluoride. Studies showing that fluoride prevents tooth decay were methodologically incorrect. Even more, we should avoid it at all costs, as it is even more poisonous than lead and slightly less toxic than arsenic. Fluoride is a pesticide and an ingredient of rats poison. There is enough fluoride in a tube of toothpaste to kill a small child, if swallowed. Fluoride is a waste byproduct of fertilizers and aluminium, etc.

Is fluoride’s effectiveness and promotion based on a very effective pseudo science and manipulation?

How to get rid of a byproduct and make a good health/beauty business? You want a nice bright, white smile? Use a good toothpaste, but remember to check if it’s high enough in fluoride. You go, buy and use it. They have a problem of waste byproduct solved and you even paid them money for its utilisation! Some theories suggest that fluoride was used by Soviets and Hitler to sedate people and make them obedient. Now we follow the trends, adverts and dental routines based on fear. Ok, let’s stick to the pleasure principle instead.  Pain (fear) and pleasure are used interchangeably for manipulation. Over simplistic? People are simple beings though.

To maintain healthy teeth, a good, balanced diet and an adequate oral hygiene should be enough. A lot of research suggesting the benefits of fluoride toothpastes was carried on populations living in poverty, without having a sufficient diet and a poor oral hygiene. Implementing topical fluoridation in those countries actually made a positive impact on oral health. Government states that we are a strong country with strong economics, so I presume we shouldn’t have a problem with poor oral hygiene. Such a strong economically country should be able to support people who don’t live up to the high standards, shouldn’t? Ok, I am not going into politics, because I want to stay away from all that hypocrisy, but isn’t the fluoride necessity a nice sweet political strategy? I bet it’s cheaper to implement fluoridation of water, topical vanishes and overall fluoride toothpastes promotions in schools over the education on a balanced diet, followed by a high quality practices in schools. Instead our kids are fed with gummy bears or chocolate stars every single day. At the same time we find in our kids book bags leaflets of 5 a day at the letters about the need of fluoridation? Do they presume that the kids live in such poverty they need to reward them with such pointless stuff? Some kids do. Some don’t have clean clothes, nor clean teeth and no-one buy them sweets, but there should be another way round it, shouldn’t it? Especially in such a strong country.

Your pineal gland is definitely not at risk of cavities because it’s full of fluoride. It can be calcified as well, if you don’t supplement calcium in the protocol with Vitamins D and K, but that’s another story. Ask your doctor about this powerful trio. You are lucky, if they know what to say. Otherwise dr Google can help with answers, if you know what information to ignore and how to filter all the “facts”.

Ok, so what is fluoride responsible for? Just a few risks of taking fluoride over a life span.

  • Osteosclerosis
  • Fluorosis
  • Hypocalcemia
  • Kidney damage
  • Astma
  • Intestinal problems
  • Heart problmes
  • Swallawing toothpaste by children can disregulate insulin secretion
  • Sperioral dermatitis
  • Decreased melatonin production
  • Depression

Detox your third eye, get better sleep, get rid of mood swings, brain fog and memory problems. High concentrations of fluoride and calcium have been found in pineal glands of people suffering from Alzheimer’s. Several studies show suggest that lower IQ in children can be due to fluoride intake.

Eat healthily and brush your teeth with natural toothpaste.

The research shows that fluoride helps prevent tooth decay, but when an adequate diet is taken and a good oral hygiene is kept, there is no need to use fluoride. Especially, if we ingest fluoride from water and food on daily basis, topping up fluoride intake from additional sources such as fluoridated water, fortified food and fluoride toothpaste can be harmful.

Some studies suggest that fluoride can be helpful when used topically, but it is only a case when the enamel is forming, so in a very young age, but the disadvantages of using fluoride outnumber its benefits. Moreover, fluoride in adults has no use in maintain a good oral health.

Fluoride is almost everywhere, that’s why it is so important to reduce its consumption to avoid accumulation its excessive amounts in our bodies.
